Our study plan

The study plan we offer provides an example of how you can do your studies if you can study; three times a week for two hours each session. However, in practice, you may find that you can complete certain parts faster or slower.

Personal Circumstances
Much depends on personal circumstances. Remember that the first two lessons are designed to help you learn the overall content. From lessons three to five, this is no longer feasible. For example, in lesson three, verb conjugation is covered. There are many verbs, and it will not be possible to master the conjugation of all verbs in just a few weeks. Only by doing many exercises will you make progress after those first lessons.

Structure of the plan

Week 1: We repeat the introduction "Tourist course": The power of this "tourist curse" is that it is very short. This means that in one week you will already know important constructions and learn a selection of important words.

Week 2, First part of lesson 1: It provides an introduction to word pronunciation and we learn to ask how things are called.

Week 3, Last pert of lesson1: This part can be completed in one week. It provides an introduction to word pronunciation and, very importantly, mastering our alphabet.

Week 4, First part of Lesson 2: We will focus on topics such as on/in/above and personal pronouns. However, the main focus will again be on pronunciation. By the end, we will work on simple sentences.

Week 5, Last part of Lesson 2: Topics include colors, counting, and "the clock." Flashcards will be provided during each lesson.

Week 6, First part of Lesson 3: We will focus on verbs: regular and irregular, particularly the verbs "to be" and "to have."

Week 7, Last part of Lesson 3: More verbs, more about "de" words and "het" words, and questions.

Week 8, First part of Lesson 4: We will cover indicating ownership, word order, and the words no, not, and never.

Week 9, Last part of Lesson 4: We will cover making things small, plurals, comparisons, and special verbs.

Week 10, First part of Lesson 5: We will cover special verbs that can be split, the use of "er," and combining sentences, along with some special topics.

Week 11, Last part of Lesson 5: We will cover the use of "te," talking about the future, and complex sentences.

Week 12 et cetera: Exercises, exercises, and exercises...
