Combine sentences

In Dutch, you can make your sentences longer and more interesting by combining them with words like "and," "or," "but," "because," and "therefore." Here’s how you can use them:

1. And

Use "en" to add more information.
Example:
I like coffee and tea.


Example: 
We are going to the park and playing soccer.

Use "of" to give choices.
Example: 
Do you want coffee or tea?


Example: 
Are we going to the movie or to the museum?

3. But

Use "maar" to show contrast or an opposite idea.
Example:
